Q) How will I be paid?
A) Weekly payroll allows us to calculate your earnings and then to pay you directly into your bank account every week.
Q) I need to complete a minimum of 5 days professional training and development each year to maintain my GSCC registration. Will Ariste help me to achieve this?
A) Each of our social care professionals will have a personal development plan containing a record of your post-registration training and we will monitor your development and deliver training in-house where necessary.
Q) I want to undertake my PQ1 but I am an interim professional. Will this be possible?
A) This will form part of your personal development plan and we will negotiate with local universities and PQ assessors to assist you with this.
Q) How does the agency support students?
A) As an agency we can provide you with all the tools to help pursue a career in the social care field; this is done through many different approaches such as work experience as well as the opportunity to work as a volunteer within the organisation.
Q) I have limited practical experience in the field: will the agency support me?
A) We can provide shadowing and other professional development opportunities such as residential and voluntary work to build confidence and develop skills.
Q) The training I have undertaken is dated, is this an issue?
A) This is not an issue, as we will provide refresher sessions which will be organised in contemporary in-house facilities and delivered by highly qualified staff.
Q) The experiences I have gained are from overseas, is this an issue?
A) Assuming your qualifications have been ratified by the General Social Care Council and you have an up-to-date CRB, it will not be an issue as we will help you in marketing your skills and experiences making them recognisable to all parties of interest.
Q) I have just recently graduated, and have little or no experience in the field, am I a suitable professional for the agency?
A) We have a variety of social care positions catering for all social care professionals regardless of their levels of experience.
Q) I am based in Liverpool, is it possible for the agency to find me a placement?
A) We are a developing national agency with business partners throughout the country and this puts us in the best position to place candidates in the area of the country that meets their requirements.
Q) How will I be kept informed of recent developments in my placement search?
A) We have the latest technology to track each individual professional, and are able to make contact in ways which best suit your requirements.
Q) Will my personal details be forwarded to third parties of the agency?
A) We strongly adhere to the data protection act and therefore no personal data is forwarded to third party organisations.
Q) I am looking for additional work, alongside my full time duties, will the agency provide for this?
A) We have many part time and interim placement positions which are vacant on a regular basis. We also facilitate assignments which can be completed as an extra income. Please bear in mind the EU employment laws with regards to this when making an application.

A) We are social care recruitment specialists and we have experience of a range of social care providers and their needs. We know how important it is for you to have the right people in place to help you deliver quality services.
Q) How do you select your people?
A) Our experience tells us that we need to pay particular attention to our recruitment processes; and so all our applicants undergo a standard selection process which includes formal interviews. We also require managerial references which are then rigorously checked.
Q) Can you work within our budget?
A) Our support and experience enables us to understand the budget of each individual partner.
Q) Are your professionals up to date on recent legislation and practice?
A) Not only are our professionals given training sessions of recent legislations and practices, but our staff are also trained to help understand the requirements of our partners.
